Scotty Air System Installed 1] Remove the factory air box and the turbo inlet hose. 2] Seal off the turbo with plastic or a heavy cloth. Be sure to cover as much as possible for fast clean up of the filings from drilling the 4.5" hole in the cowl.

3] Once the engine area is covered, first fold the insulation pad out of the way then position your hole saw 1/2" in from the edge of the flange near the passenger side hood hinge area so that you are not cutting into the reinforced area. Once the hole is cut, the included rubber grommet (opitional) installs to finish the hole. (not shown)

4] Use a magnet to pick up as much of the filings as possible, then use a vacuum, cloth or whatever measures necessary to ensure the area is spotless. Be meticulous and thorough. 5] Slide your RE:0880 K&N Air Filter into the induction unit. You will need to line it up to the tapered end that goes into the cowl. There are two step-like areas that the filter will fit into to be centered. The filter must 'pop' into place. Scotty Air System Installed
6] Once the filter is in place, install the aluminized 4" diameter fitting into the end of the K&N RE:0880 filter that goes inside the turbo inlet hose. Scotty Air System Installed 7] Tighten the clamp from the turbo inlet hose around the K&N RE:0880 filter. Be sure it is a good secure fit for optimum sealing.
8] Put the turbo inlet hose and air induction unit into place by setting the induction end into the cowl while placing the turbo inlet hose onto the turbo. Once the turbo hose is on the turbo, tighten it securely. This application will fit quite snug. Take your time and line it up correctly. Scotty Air System Installed
